Plastic gutter trim

Cruising up the M5 earlier this evening and suddenly the black trim that covers the gutter above the drivers door flies off! How much of an issue is this as it could be a while until I can get another sorted.

It doesn't have any clips or anything, it's just the profile of it that holds it to the gutter rail.
Have a look at the metalwork that it covered, and check for scratches or the beginnings of rust. If you say "it might be a while" then don't let that turn into the whole winter, because you'll start spring with some rust if you've scratched or chipped the paint.
Other than that though, it's no problem. My car's not had one for 2 years.

There are two listed (Number 1) one being Schwartz. What's the difference? Is one chrome and one black plastic?

Bet one of the zone's 'Approved Traders' can sell you one,try a 'Wanted' add in the correct section.
