Anyone have a rough(ish) idea of

A)How much a recon 2.5 M20 would cost

and

B)How much it would cost to get it fitted

I'm talking fitting it to a sport so I assume there aren't the issues with the loom etc, also I'm in the south so the nearer the better, any help would massively appreciated guys.....

Any idea of a ballpark figure mate? Don't need it doing yet, maybe I'm just being paranoid but I'm sure I can hear the onset of a bottom end death rattle. Having a rough idea of replacement costs would be good for peace of mind....

Like the idea of it, but surely much more of a mission to fit than just dropping in another M20? Also I can't imagine it doing the resale value of my car any good, (Got my boring sensible head on today.... :? )

I personally would buy a good M50 conversion E30 over any M20 engined car

How does the cost and difficulty compare between the 2?

As with OllieB, I would have to pay someone else to do the job as im not very mechanically minded.

Think it cost me about a grand to rebuild my engine which included everything except crank, rods, pistons, cam, rockers and valves if that's any help :)
