Welcome to the zone Kruft.
There are a few sports up for sale in the for sale section on here at the moment.
First thing you want to do is figure out which sport you want, the Tech 1 or Tech 2...
They have different body kits and different refinements usually. The tech 2's are usually more kitted out.
Also, whats your budget? This will determine what sort of condition you'll be looking at, but not always... Sometimes you can be lucky and get a bargain but its not often.
Your main issue to be looking for is rust, as sports hide the stuff under its kit, so if your in the right price bracket, you may well be able to ask for the kit to come off to have a proper look if the buyer is serious about selling, some people will say no... Also, check under the carpets too for signs of rust, again, some buyers will say no... If thats the case, its your own judgement to buy or not but if a buyer wasnt willing if I was on the market for one, I would walk away.
Also, your location might help too as someone local might know of something for sale.

No worries mate...
Anything for sale will be in this section...
http://www.e30zone.net/modules.php?name ... wforum&f=7
When buying from here, you should have a bit more help from other members, so when enquiring, post on the thread before you start pm'ing... You'll be suprised how much it helps when other members pot out things you havent realised, before you get stung so to speak... Not that it happens on here often

Since you've managed to post this in the "Genuine BMW parts" forum, I'm not 100% surprised you can't find the sales forums!kruft wrote:ps..where the f.c@ do i look for the classified on here??? i am soo stupid sorry

Shell condition is all with these cars now.
Buy only the very best that you can afford, dealers such as WLN and Old Colonel will be able to show you only top examples at prices to match.
These cars are now becoming collectable and prices for the very best are only going to rise.
Welcome to the zone,BTW!
