Hi all , I m interested to find out what insurance companies are best for insuring E3o s .

I just tried to insure my car and to be honest the E30 is more expensive to insure than my 2001 mercedes kompressor and our Audi a4 3.0.
Its only a 318i lux I have so I dont see where they get the ridiculous prices.
Does any company insure these as a classic for a decent price?

Thanks

Gav

Try;

Lancaster Insurance
Sureterm
Pete Best

Lancaster, rescently have increased their prices lately. Sureterm will only insure you if its a second car being used on limited millege and not for work. Pete Best seem to be doing very good prices for people at the moment though. :thumb:

All worth a try though as a 318i auto 4 door shouldn't be costing you more than £200 a year, depending on experience location etc...

Pete Best charged me about £220 for my 325i Touring. Was fully comp with breakdown cover and i'm only 26, it is a second car and limited mileage but sound like yours will be a second car as well so should be good.

Only thing is they apparently only insure non-modified cars.

For me its always Lancaster Insurance. 325i sport £127.82 fully comp, up to a thousands miles a year. It was around £250ish for up to 5000 miles a year.

Lancaster were the best for me on a classic policy (limited miles and doesn't build no claims bonus)

This year I decided to add to my no claims and axa were the best
