Right i now know the proper names so no one can get confused anymore!

Bilstein sports- are the shorter,stiffer shocks. And are good for if u want to lower the car as they are 1 inch shorter than normal E30 shocks. and are pretty good. They come with the Bilstein "sprintline kit" with springs matched to them

Bilstein sport sprint - this is the name for the inverted type shocks which are the best if u want your car to handle! These puppys will match to any type of spring u have. As they auto adjust on bump and rebound. So u will be always matched! If u want better than these then a phone call to Leda is on the cards for some coilovers. H&R use these in their coilovers too

If u don't want to shell out a fortune for these new, get an old m-tech 1 sport and have them rebuilt under the lifetime warranty on them from bilstein. This is the only E30 they were fitted to standard, plus early M3's

Ordinary billys why would u want them?

I'm not overly impressed with my Spax, i wish i'd have got billies now :(

Thanks for the info, i was always confused abut all this stuff, at least i know what i want, and wont run the risk of being disappointed.
