Spent a few hours today disconnecting everything from the block etc and taking as much off as I can before I take out the gearbox etc.
Ive everything stripped now, just need to take out the gearbox and take out the wrecked bottom end and swap all over for the new one.
Gonna clean everything and paint it all up before putting back in. Just need to decide what colour to do the bottom end and gearbox.

Here's a couple of pics of my house mates Supra. 3.0 Non turbo but at least its a manual and has a LSD. I reckon the BM will beat it once fixed. :D

Nah he hasnt got a clue when it comes to cars, he just likes driving them and pays other people to do the work.
I'd rather do it on my own anyway as at least I know where I put all the bits and pieces.
I was thinking silver or metallic grey for the bottom end and gearbox but not sure yet.

Fair play to you Adam, despite being new to E30's and the totally shit luck you've had so far, your still battling on! Keep on in there, I think anyone else would have given up a long time ago!

Cheers folks. Everyone and I mean everyone keeps telling me to get rid of it once fixed and deep down I know I probably should but I just cant help it. I want to keep it and bring it back to the way it should be.
There's just something about these cars.

Well there werent many colours to choose from so went with silver in the end. Looks just the same as the new head so it should all look nice when its in the car.
