Hi ppl,

I'm just wondering if anyone knows what the standard equipment and options were on the 325i both cosmetically interior/exterior and other electrical nice toys? I'm more interested in the 325i Sport, I've had SE's before, two of them, both two door too, both had the better OBC, rear blinds, tinted windows, electric heater mirrors, electric windows/sunroof, headlight wash/wipe with heater washer jets, door locks, etc, the older one had LSD, the later eh.auto one didn't, but i know they come with cruise control, heated seats? electric seats? leathers, anything else nice, and what models they came on, but what i wanna do is get the best spec's e30, i guess the top spec'd e30 would be a mix of SE and Sport?

Also whats the little round thing with slit on it near the radio? i heard once it was for the south african version which had climate control, it was a temp sensor? or maybe a mic for speed sensing auto volume control on some radios?

Any special years, the E30 had the most kit in them? I'm guessing the later ones,

any links would be nice, thanks so much.

Option list on an E30 was vast - you could double the price of the basic car with the options list, so you can't really tell what's on an E30 from just the model name.
Obviously a late SE is likely to be higher specced than an earlier 316, but not neccessarily so.
If you can get hold of the last part of the VIN of a particular car, your dealer can tell you what spec it was sold with.
The little round slotted thing is part of a climate control system.

I have an options list, colour chart and original brochure (not selling) and would take me a day to type all the options out.

And also depends on your car as some options for a touring wouldnt be aplicable to the convertable and visa-versa

i have (think i still have) an original list and stuff too, mine is from the pre-facelift period, it looks so dated (it's very burgundy from what i remember, i haven't got it to hand). And it's in great condition! how much is it worth, i was just gonna chuck it...couldn't see it being worth *that* much!

thanks, silly me, pardon my ignorance, must have missed that one. so no electric seats, never mind, still... when i was out in say 1990, it must have been state of the art, best thing is... it's still a good car now, 15 years after, still strong engine, still highly spec'd, still looking good, still safe, still so highly desirable in any shape! awesome

thanks ppl
