330 quid for a set of refurbed straight Hartges. With a set of staggered Alpinas with caps going for 1,020 last weekend I thought these would do 600 +.

I wasn't in on these so there's no other agenda, just interested.

TBH if I was going to be bidding on them I'd have called Steve Topless and Ravvy to find out who I was up against.

My money's on Steve.

JFC I thought I was tight. I've got a set of newly refurbed straight hartges and they wouldn't be leaving my ownership for anything less than 600 and you'd have to fight me for them

Let's not start talking about caps, it makes me sad.

No, I'm just really surprised that you valued these wheels at 320 quid.

I'm only yanking your chain, no offence intended.

Given that they are made of shitey plastic, fall off easily and are just as easy to nick, it makes sense to have some spares.

I don't know anyone who owns Hartge wheels and has the caps on all the time.

You know someone or you keep your caps on ?

I understand that if you get the brakes heating up too much the heat warps the lugs on the inside of the cap and hence why the fookers break so easily.

Topblag I would have said either you or Rav

Who got them then? That other dude from scotland with a million sets of Hartge rims? (can't remember his name)
How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

they look terrible without caps, normal driving won't melt the tabs, a track day or binding brakes will :(
