The best advice is: Don't do it.
I'm not even joking.

try and track down a scottish zoner called "jimbojetset", he had an E30 he put 'Lambo' doors on.

I wouldn't even bother, its a bmw not a lambo for a start and they will only make the car look chavy!
Just my opinion mind

I wonder if you'd get through an MOT with welded up doors - Dukes of Hazzard stylee ?

stevie this has the potential to be a very expensive idea!! Why not try gull-wing doors instead as they can be butchered for far less money. Lambo doors need a LOT of modification where as gull-wing style (if you can't picture a '55 300SL Merc then think of the DeLorean DMC12 from Back to the Future) can be mashed together with some hinges and boot struts

Hey Stevie,
while you're brain storming some ideas, I'll share a video with you to give you some more ideas. it's good to do them all at the same time and then roll out in the one off 'Steviebmw' when its fully done.

Use smooth then if you're that way inclined- bit sticky for my liking though. If you must raid the fridge for lubricants, spreadable butter is probably better or mayonaise maybe. Personally I'd look in the cupboard and pick out the olive oil instead...beema_boy wrote:They dont suit the shape of the E30.

I'll give you the 1kal spray is far easier and less messy to use but it's longevity is questionable? If one's longevity is questionable then yes go with the spray everytime as there will be less to clean up afterwards

Do you not like peanut butter either Jim? I think it's gross so at a loss as to why anyone would choose it as a sex condiment?Jim320i wrote:![]()

Stevie , every idea you come up with destroys the lines of an e30.
You have to be a wind up merchant, surely no one has taste this bad?
Either way your 'special' threads certainly make me smile.

I have got to say it; seriously WTF is wrong with you? It's like all your idea's are mash ups from children's drawings and a 1990's max power magazine!
Although after reading your plans, I think I may jack in my job and go on the dole, clearly pays well!

Whats with the 'Take the piiiss and dig at Stevie' lads? Might not be to some people tastes, just like it isnt to my taste, but saying the above is just offensive... Who said he isnt minted... Just because he isnt in work doesnt mean he is on the dole... Doesnt mean he cant afford it either.

I'm not playing any more. Can't he be restricted to one thread called "Stevie's BMW styling cockups"? We seem to have about 50% of the forum dedicated to this crap!

While it may be an assumption he is on the dole, it is an absolute joke he is getting his mother to pay for the respray and who knows what else.Jim320i wrote:Whats with the 'Take the piiiss and dig at Stevie' lads? For Christ's sake, I'm 20. While my parents are very wealthy, they have never bought me any of my cars, or my bikes, nor "loaned" me a penny. All of it was paid for by working hard since I left school. This guy is 35....
It wasn't taking the pi$$ take by any means.
