After speaking to a few of you guys, i got the impression a 3-peice system was the way forward..... so i proceded to the forsale section, Clacmac was selling a 3peice exhaust for 30 beer tocans..... that will do the trick, Arrage to pick up the following weekend as i couldnt pick up the coming weekend, fine no problemo, Phone to arrange collection i was a little unsure how i would get it to fit in a cab..... (didnt want to go in the van it was a sunny day!)
Anyway Clint offerd to let me use his 4 Poster ramp to do a streight swap, awsome.....
Went to pick it up...... 4 o'clock i said i would be there left with 2hours to spare...... got lost in spagetti junction and managed to get stuck on the wrong road a few times DOH!!!! ah well arrived at 5ish
Still doing my upmost to keep between 50-30mpg.......
Anyway get there...... First bolt on one of the rear straps for the back box snap.......bollocks so that took a bit of grinding drilling to fix as the other strap...there was no bush on the chassis!! grrreat!
The rest of the exhaust went on no problems!
Got it off the lift started it and it purrred...... then realised i needed to toghten the downpipe as it was blowing a tad......back up tighten and done
All sorted, The 3peice system sounded soo soo much better that the 2pc one, and the car actually feels a lot better smoother maybe a tad more power too.
Basically a loooong post to say a very big thankyou for letting me use your 4poster! Really apreciate it... Also bought a lsd off him about 6weeks before!
Oh yer also got a twin sub box for a bargain too!!
