325e? no, it's nothing special, in fact quite the opposite - it's from the oil crisis in the states when they decided to design cars that could be economical, so you have a 2.7 (badged as 2.5) that has an rpm limit of about 5.5k and ~120hp with a bunch of torque. unless you want to snatch it to make a *real* 2.7, there's nothing of interest there....

isn't an ES a "super ETA" bit better than the normal 325e, but as the moof points out its nothing special

I thought he meant the 325es which was the same as the 325is but an e
but yeah the super eta had 125hp instead of 121hp...lol
(i had thought super eta was the later e engine but not sure now)

Super Eta's have bigger valves, still low on power though. Normal ETA's rev limit at under 5k rpm.
Either way it's a 2.7 and has potential.

that super eta shite was the eta bottom end with a 2.5 885 head.
