Quality pattern panels

I'm looking to repair my rusty rear wheel arches on my cab. I don't want to cut out and replace the whole rear panel but this is the only part available from BMW now.

I could cut just the arch out and use that but it seems a waste and very costly.

Has anyone found a good supplier of pattern panels for the E30? I think the 2 door repair arch can be made to fit the cab. Any pointers most welcome.

That's a Beaver panel about to be sliced up to repair the arch lip on my cabbie.The sill section is not quite the same shape,but a decent bodyman will be able to adapt it without too much work.

Thanks for the reply, are you about to do this job or is it done be interested in the pics.

Whats the quality of the steel like gauge etc?

Anyone used any other panels they would recommend I heard a rumour that Schmiedmann panel were pretty good.

I've got Hadrian panels fitted to mine, seem to be ok and the lad who fitted them didnt have any complaints

Job was done about 18 months back,by my local bodyshop.There's a thread in the Photo Gallery,look for my username and I think I called it 'Daimlermans Cabbie'....there's before,after and some 'during' piccies!
