Me too! The bright orange streak of a zone sticker would sit nicely in the alpine white turd.

I want some too!!
i was thinking some in orange to match the website. E30zone.net about 6"-8" long and about 3" high. if i had the graphics i could get some test ones printed up, see how they look. got a good cheap local signwriter nearby, i get good deals off him get clear plastic (removable, just) printed on A4 sheets and then just run then through a guilottine. easy.
Did that for the racing team i used to work with.

cost is going to be more than £3.50 estimated due to the quality of the stickers and the company i have contacted. likely to be around £5.00 for the sticker and about £5.50 for the static charge ones (this does include a small amount of money to go into the zone kitty to help pay to keep it going) depends if the admin etc want the stickers out at cost or a small amount from each one to keep the zone going. I don't mind £5-5.50, especially the static charge ones, you can move them from car to car in about 10secs flat and no sticky stuff or residue left on your glass.
just a show of hands who would be interested and in which ones? help admin etc work out if its a viable option.
1. m8782538- I'll take 2 of either

Yes but its the cost of them, the static charge window stickers to members at around £5.50 isn't exactly cheap but its a good price for the quality thats produced. Plus probably need to get money up front from members too, to cover the initial outlay, the more you buy the cheaper it is i got a quote based on only 100 but it depends on whether people want them and are willing to pay for them i suppose.
I have no problem ordering them and posting them out and the money comes to be and i just give the profit from each one to the zone, but again need 100 to go and payment up front as it isn't cheap to do.

You're right, it's not that cheap, so it would be easier for zoners to commit if the design / colour was finalised.
I would pay, but not for the proposed design which as I understand it is the lettering and font from the banner at the top of the page "E30zone.net" in orange.
In order to get 100 firm orders I reckon you'll need to go for a more "neutral" colour.

These are sensations as hard to forget as they are to ignore.....
i just got prices based on the logo on the website but in orange as it seems to be a theme on the website. The more colours you use, the more expensive it is, one colour is pretty much the same price. could get plain black ones or maybe silver.
Have to wait and see what admin says.
Hope they decide soon as i want to get my E30 on the road by september, welding is the major hold up as its not cheap and i have to save the cash to get it done. Both cills need sorting, plus a patch underneath, going to cost a good £500-£600 which at the moment i just don't have

Sorry, I've just seen the size of the proposed stickers (20cm x 8cm).
I'd never get through a Euro MOT with a sticker that big in the window, I'll pass.

personly think just "e30zone" , and leave out the .net bit, which like on number plates etc on older classic cars doesnt look great, just e30 zone clear sticker with just e30zone in a choice of colors, would look best
plus anyone with an e30 and didnt know the zone who saw one in an e30, would presume its a club/website anyway and google it if they wanted to find out

Come over to Europe and try that one in the MOT station !m8782538 wrote:its to go on the rear side windows or the rear window, shouldn't be a problem with euro MOT. There are not too many changes over the old MOT.
THe UK MOT is far from a continental MOT. We are not allowed ANY stickers in ANY windows (but with a bit of common sense you can get away with a discrete car club sticker).
Even the R5 Turbo boys have trouble with the word "Turbo" in the back window and that was factory applied !!!

The MOT here has been changed slightly but not much, details are available

YOu need common sence when placing the stickers too, bottom of the rear side glass has no safety impact on the vehcile, doesn't obstruct the drivers view enough to make any difference.
You can still have sun strips on road cars upto 4" i believe on your front windscreen

are the stickets not going to be made easily removable ? slightly thicker than normal and not a "sticker" as such, but the type you can put on/off a window lots of times without it getting stuck or leaving residue/marks, like a tax disc holder type of sticker is what you want to use
like these i think, also thyey dont charge for more colors and 50 start at £30 for 100ml x 100ml

i got a quote for those too (static charge stickers), a bit more expensive but not much.
Would be good for members to have them, then at least we can tell zone members from just driving down the road and seeing the sticker in the window.
Could always get tiny little ones done for number plates, gym round the corner from me has them for its members car park. small little sticker about 5cm x 1.5cm stuck on one of the corners of the number plates (front and rear).

well them static charge ones are the only choice, like myself, some people may not want to stick a proper permanent sticker in a 20-25 year old original bmw window, but a static charge one is no worries and can easily be put in/out
static ones would probably end up being about £5.50 each (approx) based on the size (20cm x 8cm) and single colour but could be made smaller but won't really make it much cheaper.
I am more in favour of static charge ones too. my black 2dr with one in each rear side window would look ok.

If people didnt want a straigh "E30 Zone" sticker/static charge, maybe we could use the obvious design skills of the club members and run a competition to produce a sticker design that was a little more "designed". If that was what people wanted, if there was limitations put onto the initial brief, ie one colour under 20cm x 8cm.
PS I would like a sticker to fit in the back side windows or rear window of my Tech 1, but would not want to put a bright orange sticker in my car, would much prefer something a lot more subtle
