you should bite his hand off for that Ԛ£700. thats alot of money for a 320i with an mot!
sell morsels off the 325i then frag the rest.
you will have close to the grand in your pocket. this will buy you a proper e30 with an engine.

thats a doosie mate! like I said in the PM a non MOT'd 320i is worth Ԛ£300 at very MAX!
Ԛ£700 for it and a breaker worth about Ԛ£3-400 in parts is a steal.
that'd get you a 316i mint shell and an m30 3.5 to go in it
alternatively a decent late 316i touring is about Ԛ£1200ish.......

I would just do exactly like Jon has suggested, you're gonna have that nice 320 coming from Matt, so you have a comfortable reliable daily hack, get what's left on your driveway fragged/sold on. Plus the 325 you would inherit in this deal.jonb wrote:daz

That way you can continue to drive around in 6 pot rightness and easily have a grand in the kitty if not more to source a 316 tourer and then the bits to make it into whatever beast you like. Just keep back any bits you will need for a conversion, such as rear end etc if you get something without discs.
I think you have to have a defiinite project in mind though otherwise you will end up with bits all over the place or having to buy stuff you previously had.

can't remember mate, don't think No MOT is a fixed penalty, sure that's a day at the mags and a means tested fine but I could be wrong. It's been 10 years since i did criminal law

try this site fella, fully of useful info
looks like No MOT is fine limited to maximum of Ԛ£1K, but there is a fixed penalty option

worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do but it never really gets you anywhere

The Ԛ£1000 is the maximum fine a court can impose and would only arise if you were a serial offender on this subject and were rather flush. If you can show you are unemployed and a string of bills you are unlikely to get done for more than Ԛ£100 IMO. Unless something can be sorteddazleeds wrote:upto a grand![]()

You'll get done for failing to produce too assuming they bother to check you produce (they don't always) so sit still for the time being and just wait for that wonderful "on her majesty's service" envelope to arrive
