What is the max compression can I run?

What sort of power gains will I get?

What else do I need to do to the engine?

What other problems will I have eg petrol, fueling etc. ?

Na, This could be answer to doing a 2.7 conversion.

No worries of the crank giving up on u at 6000 and above.
No decking, messing about with timing just a straight swap.

for the effort u might aswell get some custom pistons made up. I've heard prices of Ԛ£600 thrown about. But will the gains be good enough for the effort going into getting it done? or do u have other plans for the engine too?

face lift pistons are 8:1
pre are 9:1

or something like that

Yes, u guys are right, face lift model 170bhp early 172bhp guessing the 10.2.1 compression ratio thingy will be about 174bhp.

Thanks guys, It was just a crazy idea.
