i am rebuilding an m20 at college and know a lot of you guys have already done this; so was just wondering how much did you lot pay for a gasket set, and did it include a head gasket? and also were from?

Full head gasket set from GSF for Ԛ£50.
Gasket set from BMW Ԛ£174!!!!

Which do you prefer?

I bought mine from the dealer, wasn't quite that expensive though, just over Ԛ£130 IIRC.

I got my gasket set for the ETA convertion from ebay.

Ԛ£11.50 including the delivery. Made by Goetze or however you spell it.

I've been told that only the karl heince (sp) ones are to be used if not using the BMW ones, that came from a very very reliable source.

that's the make sold by GSF Dan

Ԛ£50 for the headset, another Ԛ£10 or so for the bolts

GSF all day boys

got the inlet manifold and rocker cover and ancillaires off yesterday so head should be off by next week then i can start the demon work such as gas flowing :-x
