91' MTech cylinder head with casting ID 2.7 ETA

My MTech cylinder head has a casting ID on it indicating 2.7 ETA.

As far as I know my M20 is a regular 325i displacing 2.5 lt. Is this normal to have this cylinder head ?

Yes. It'll be an 885 casting which all the 2.5's used. Ignore the 2.7 bit. It's thrown alot of people.
