The drive is really deep and i don't fancy getting stuck again coming home. We're also expecting more today till about 4pm so it may well get even worse

I would prefer to be at work to be honest as its coming up to christmas and could really do with the cash. If I dont go work, I dont get paid. :( And still need to get the missus some presents as not got anything yet...

Getting more cars never helps either. :?

Only just made it home on Friday night.
Managed to get out yesterday, but couldn't get as far as the main road.
Same scenario today.

Been off work for a week now because of this weather "event"

My house has a steep apex roof and the snow keeps literally 'landsliding' off at random events. There is guttering hanging off all over on every side, its proper fecked

It's not warm enough up here for that to happen yet

I was called out to work, I was rest day and they rang me up wanting a few moves to the shed.

We had trains coming in with broken windscreens and they have to be put out of service.

I went in at 12 and was home by 16.00 and I did nothing but drink tea in the messroom 8)

The house two along from us has developed guttering and down pipe separation issues, the end result being an icicle which I would estimate to be around half a meter long. Wouldn't fancy having that land on my head

P.S. House is unoccupied at the moment, so no real danger to anyone
