Next to my work place i spotted this beauty being washed. Apparently the guy who owns it is selling it!

I am going to get details tommorrow but for now can someone put me out of my misery and tell me what model it is?

Its a CSL (i think) not sure of the engine size. Looks like a okay car, but you cant really tell from the pictures.

Not the best pictures true.

Will try to get some of the interior and some close ups.

Heard the engine being revved and it sounds awesome.

It's not a CSL. They were the Batmobiles... The CSL's had plexi glass windows and alloy panels, etc.

It's a CS. That year will be a 3.0i I would think, not a carb model, though I could be wrong.

Giles they made about 1100 CSL's only the last 120 or so where the famous batmobiles

looks to be a CS/CSL of some sort. Need to find out the engine size could be 2.8,3.0,3.2 i don't know alot about these but i know they RUST! badly and they rust everywhere. So be very careful when looking. Like anycar of that age they rust from the inside out which is a nice thought 8O

As Simon says ('scuze the pun  ) Beware of tin rot and expect it to empty your wallet.

What a car though!

Going by the 7" alpina alloys and the factory council arches i would say that is a 3.0 CSL . In its day a hero chariot, more expensive than a Ferrari 246 or an Aston v8 !. Now unfortunately they are mostly rotten bodged up scrap (like the Ferrari and Aston !) but unlike the Ferrari and aston not worth a huge amount. A really nice one is Ԛ£10000 but it will cost Ԛ£20000 to turn a pig into a tidy one. They originally had alloy doors and bonnet and boot and thinner gauge steel than a standard CS ,as a result most were hanging by their 10th birthday. Only for the brave.

Correct its a 3.0 CSL, in addition to above it has 7 previous keepers, and last keeper change was on the 28/07/1989. It is also hpi clear.

One of many peaks to my job
