The vader seats?

You may need to make some slight modification to the runners, but I've seen plenty of people put e36 and even e46 seats into an E30

Yes they can be adapted to fit. Do a search for E36 AND Seats.

Covered quite a bit on here

Just put the front and rear vader set in mine, not to everyones taste but I like them, have to have brackets made like I did or could just bodge them in by drilling your floor pans......

who going to be the first to type all in caps and swear then?

they seem to go in without a great deal of work, even the rears have been done.

personally i think how well it works/looks all depends on the cloth choice, the rest of the interior and how well they have been fitted.

How do you get around the issue of the rear seats? E36 coupé rear seats fold and are hinged at the bottom and are then clipped secure in to the rear bulk head in front of the parcel shelf.

The seat belts are also located in the tops of the seats so a proper secure fit would be critical for the rear seats in the interest of safety! Mind you, thinking about it, don't E30s have rear seat belts located in the parcel shelf :?: In that case, you'd end up with double seat belts!

I,ve kept original e30 belts as they are bolted to the body. The rear seats I used some thin aluminium to hold them in place across the backs and then bolted through the rear seat back from in the boot.
