On bbs wheels i always used to love the 15" bbs on an e30 with the centre caps. Strangely though i seem to be taking a liking to them without the centre caps..... Anyone else with me?

having 1 center cap missing on my car , ive been pondering this a lot latley when standing and looking at the car, its certainly a different look, and not "bad" as such, sometimes i quite like it, but still think its better with the caps
i might take all of them off or a cple of days n see what i think

i don't have any caps on mine, but wish i did
I think it varies on what the car is like overall, i used to think it looked pretty bad without the caps.. but ive seen a couple e30's without the caps on the bbs, which i reckon looks pretty good.
Coolant temp sensor, BBS/Alpina or Borbet Alloys & Rear ashtray NEEDED!
PM me if you got any of the above for sale

Normal 15" BBS without centrecaps looks rubbish IMO.
The centrecap is part of the design, and without them the design doesn't work. If the wheels are designed to have caps they should be fitted.
You wouldn't remove the kidney grille on the front of the car to leave a gaping hole would you ?

e30topless said : Proper BMW's have 4 headlights, last of the run was the E30 and E34/E32 anything after that is just complete shite
but without the caps, the star type shape of the spokes stands out nice, although i dont like the bolts showing, maybe a smaller round bmw logo cap, that fits right in and just covers the very middle bit over the bolts, might look quite goodcapri_rob wrote:Normal 15" BBS without centrecaps looks rubbish IMO.

i had no centrecaps on my first e30, livinng in a shady part of east london where tech2 bumpers etc seem to go missing on a regular basis it didnt make sense to go spend £50 on a set only to wake up the next morning to find theyd been taken.
and i agree the wheels dont look that bad without the caps.

At over £20 a cap, i'd happily settle for the no-caps look.

I like them without caps
one of mine went missing at some point and i was debating with myself whether to bother buying another or not, ended up deciding against and took the remaining three caps off

Ok - slightly different question: No centre caps or ill-fitting centre caps? I've just fitted some second hand BBS wheels and on one wheel the centre cap fits well, but on the other three the centre caps are all pretty loose..
I'm leaning towards no centrecaps until I can work out how to improve the fit.. Besides, otehrwise I might just end up with then falling off..

I took mine off as I like the look without and they can't get nabbed! I did the same on my Campaign Edition Mk1 golf gti, with the p-slot centrecaps

Ok then guys, new question! I want a tech 1 spoiler but i cant really afford it now, would it be silly to sell my centre caps to fund the spoiler? just thinking that the spoiler is rarer...
