It is with great sadness and a very heavy heart to be leaving the E30Zone team, especially as I was one of the team that made the E30Zone what it is today. I have been told that I am no longer going to be the Admin, or any part of the team as due to my illness I have not been able to commit any time to the running of the zone. Also I would like to thank M3GTR for his contribution too as he is no longer part of the team either. I hope that you will give as much support to the new Admin - Adam, as I did..

I wish the E30 zone all the success for the future and ask that you give it as much support as when it first started.

I hope that I will still see some of you at the regular meets and I hope that I will be seeing some of you at the next ACE cafe meet.

All the very best - lots of love ... Lizzie xxx

ive got too much to say on this subject... so much so that i fear i will be banned by midnight. could EVERYONE who wishes to discuss this please email rideordiebuzz@aol.com to discuss this situation . (adam included please)
Adam, i trust you will respect the manner in which i am keeping my exact personal opinions OFF the forum pages, as they may "infringe with the way the e30zone is run" or may cause friction to certain members. (Im trying to keep the thread professional and considerate to others and not disturb the Zone Chi) I trust my post wont be moderated in any way, as this one has not said anything objectionable in any way. I hope this is the case.
Many thanks

Exactly what the last 3 posts said...

Don't feel hard done by Lizzie. Everyone knows you were one of the originals and your illnesses are not your fault. I would like to see you concentrating on recovering and not having to worry about things such as the zone. I can assure you it's in good hands and these changes are for the benefit of this site as I'm sure you will see for yourself in the future.

Please don't take this personally because it's most definately NOT.

Scott, you have email but please don't start giving grief over this.

Look guys, no-one has booted Lizzie off the site or told her to sling her hook.

Changes need to be made for the benefit of this place, Lizzie will always be welcome here but for God's sake, talk about drama!

Power Mad winkeye tune in for tomorrow's episode.........da,da,da,da,da,daaaaa,daaaa, budum bum bum. at the end of the day i dont know enough about whats going on here but it seems to me that a lot of people have been shell shocked by the decision here, i aint gonna comment like i said but "things" need to be worked out here i think thats pretty clear! at the end of the day its only a glorified chat room...... fair enough? no need to start worrying about having "admin" or "team member" by your name, what does it really mean anyway?? we are all suppose to be here to help eachother and all that seems to be happening is a lot of bitchin, are these changes for the best or worst?? a lot of people seem to be getting very unhappy though i do know that, my opinion may not count for much i dont know but to be honest i dont care, what ive said is true and it needed to be said, sorry if i offend anyone with my comments but thats life im affraid, would be a laim world if we all thought the same

Looking forward to seeing you and everyone else - might even bring along my Zymol stuff to show off to the guys that have never come across it and that have never used it before. :D Remember that I also organised with John Drake that anyone mentioning my name and the E30zone would not have to pay for postage and packaging when they telephone to place an order.

Adam I don't mind stepping down from the team. It is nothing to do with a title or power, it is all to do with the fact that I am concerned with how the E30zone is run. It is also just the way that you handled yourself. It would have been just polite to have personally phoned me and we could have discussed this rather than me finding out from a pm - You didn't even have the courteousy to email me and given me the option to step down from the team. You didn't even allow me to have the option to come back on board to help out. My illness is something that is for life and not something that I can get over, but I would just have liked the option to have said yes or no. I also found out on the private section of this forum that things were changing before you even told me - the rest of the team knew about it before me!!

I will remain on the E30zone just to make sure that things are running smoothly and that you are not trying to make money out of this site, as the intentions were not to make money out of anyone, other than to pay for running costs. Now that Ant has set up that the running of the site is hosted for free, then there is no need to find any costs from producing stickers, or any other merchandise that has the E30 zone logo etc. Especially as the zone is not registered for VAT purposes.

I expect that there will be some snide comments, but I think that this should be known, as it applies to everyone that uses this site.

Lizzy i think a few zone members realised this a while ago, i.e the zone shop is to help the site and keep it running.

Now i know there is obviously a profit going to be made, and if/when al the t-shirts etc get printed out with the zone name on them, where and who are going to get all the money?

The people that founded the site?

Just my point of view.

OK, so everyone who has ever wanted a sticker or t-shirt or whatever, it's down to yourselves to get this done as obviously it would be illegal (and profit making for us) if we were to organise a mass amount to be produced.

Sorry to try and be helpful to others, how selfish of us.

dont be stupid, what people are talking about is keeping things in tone with the manner in which the zone was originally setup. if this manner has changed, could someone let us know please?
