Hello all,
Ive not been on for a while as some of you know i lost my 320i in a smash while my good lady was driving us all to dinner, ive finally got a settlement offer from the insurers, they've offered me Ԛ£350 which i dont think is in anyway a fair offer,i know my car was 18 years old but it was in very good condition and had covered 150,000 miles but was still running sweetly....what im asking is does anyone think this is a fair offer or what do they think i should ask for?

Thanks all
Of all the people ive met, youre definitely one of them!

never accept the first offer.

post the cheque back and demand more. get proof of selling prices (watch some ending on ebay and then print off) also ads etc. then send it all back.

don't forget to play on the classic status, owners club (zone) member loved car theme...

dont accept their first offer, when i crashed my first 320 touring ,they offered me a similar amount ,i refused and we eventually settled on Ԛ£800, and i was allowed to take the alpina reps of it as well, not to bad considering i bought the car for Ԛ£500. :D

morning border-good news that they're gonna settle! hows your lot anyways?

back OT though- I'd be expcting a minimum of Ԛ£600 for your car-and as others have said-get ebay listings/autotrader ads etc to prove it!

good luck!
