Need to replace the O Ring on the oil level sensor, went to BMW but this part is no longer available. Shouldn't be too difficult to get hold of one but need to know which size (don't want to have to take the sensor off then go hunting for one!). It says on Real OEM that it is 3 x42,3
If I go to a supplier will they know what this means? what does the last 3 mean?
Cheers

3mm x 42.3mm. Don't ask me why the Germans use a comma instead of a point.

So thickness x diameter.

On most CNC machines you can specify a "point" or a "commer" .
I think it stems from way before the "decimal point" was invented.

Make sure you get one made from oil resistant material. Not all O rings are.
