Hello,

Are there any zoners in Leeds (or the surrounding area) that own an E30 touring (preferably 325i) that wouldn't mind me coming to have a look at it and taking me for a spin around the block?

I need to see if it is big stuff to carry band gear before I make my first e30 purchase :)

Ta

James

I was in Leeds on Saturday in mine!...You should have said earlier...lol

I must admit, I lug a lot of gear in mine and I ind it deceptively spacious.....especially when the rear seat bases are removed, giving an entirely flat load space!

The load space is fairly good, but a bit awkward to get into James.
Because of the placement of the rear lights, it's hard to actually get gear into the back. I have a couple of Trace Elliot speaker cabs (4X10 & 1X15) in my other garage, never actually tried to get them in the back of my last touring, but I reckon I'd be struggling........ :?

Im in wakey, and the touring is sat doing nowt in the yard at home.
I used mine last month to carry myself and 3others, a Trace bass cab, bass, guitar, and camping gear for 4 for a week.
They really are deceptively roomy.

Not sure when I'll next be in mind....

Don't forget that if you fit two door front seats you can flip them forward, drop the rear seats and have a really long load on the passenger side, or a very lumpy double bed ;)

Ah, I live near Rothwell which isn't too far away. Is there any chance i'd be able to pop over to have a look at your touring before Tuesday?
