Another vote for the M50 here.
Would be ideal with the Cab cause you can drive round with the top down listening to that sweet 6pot sound all day long.

Even though Ive gone the 24v route, I actually prefer the sound of the M20 - but Ive not heard mine running yet so that may change

this is true mate i must get reading and doing some research with regards to the m50

and the sound oh yes

luckily i was fortunate enough to go out in Will's beast before he got that girls car
and that sounded soooooo good even though it had a bit of a hybrid manifold
Jhonno wrote:m50 for sure
would i be right in saying you are doing this conversion yourself mate
if so when are you at the Ace cafe next
might have to get on your ear and have a chat about it

this is one of the reasons i am swaying towards the m50 too

also thanks to everyone who has voted so far :thumb:

i was goin to do it yes.. i got to the point of buying the engine having researched it all n then was offered an S50 instead so i've gone with that instead.. still a similar conversion but with some added complications

More than happy to have a chat to you bout it at Ace if you want

If you do run out of ideas, you can always have the M40 that I will have spare soon, and stick it in the boot - twin M40s.
