Best personalised plates
Moderator: martauto
Yesterday morning I saw a very nice E30 M3 - plate was "M3INIT". That's a plate I'd have!
What are the best you've seen? Who in your opinion has failed to look like a complete wand-polisher, while saying something about their car, that made it worth the custom plate fee... in just 6 or so characters?
(Australian plates can have just 6 characters. All cars with four wheels are one class of registration, basically - the whole thing is one identifying sequence and says nothing about power, weight, expense to register etc.)

I have to admit BA51 ARD was the best I've seen on a 996 carrera 2 made me laugh.

Saw this crawling along the M25 a couple of days ago and its on a E plate (small E in the blue circle) not sure what that denotes but was speculated bout on another thread. Tried to get the guys attention but he just kept a grumpy look on his face and got totally blanked. Was gonna offer in K's for it.harry_p wrote:can't be many m reg e30 m3s around![]()
E30 BMW was posted up on here a week or so back, currently on an e46 330ci clubsport though

Two cars along chelsea proudly display 2B on one and NOT 2B on the other. An Aston and a Range rover iirc.
on a boat in florida 'dixe normous' with two rainbow flags aloft.
The yanks are strict on rude words as boat names this managed to get through the net

E is for Spain, but it's a uk registration mark on a rhd car. do a reg check on the net and it pulls up the right car details, so the E is just as daft as people who randomly put a german D on theirsTouringTash wrote:Saw this crawling along the M25 a couple of days ago and its on a E plate (small E in the blue circle) not sure what that denotes but was speculated bout on another thread. maybe he has no idea what an e30 is and kept the plate because E30 looks a bit like 330 and that's what it's attached to?

I was in Manchester a couple of years back, and watched some dick in a Hummer park across the pavement, so no-one could get past. His number plate was 'B16 CUN'. I was sorely tempted to go up to him and point out that the 'T' had fallen off his numberplate
If it ain't broke, fix it till it is
Original plates are the "new cool" too many personal ones about now.
I won't buy another personal plate I had my current one 7 years and now the missus drives the car its on.

How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

Spotted leaving the Belfry last year. Sorry about the poor photo. PEN15, I think I'm sure PEN1S was never issued.

(not seen unfortunately)

How about "T12AMP" on a Bentley Arnage....
I'm also starting to like the really short plates that don't mean anything, (excepet to the owners), like "28 FT " on a white phantom, or "2Y" on a Porsche. They look very nice.
I've also seen a plate I might get for myself....E3 OUM.....With dodgy spacing it'll read E3O UM which are my initials. What do we think?

Probably about 10 years ago the guy who runs my local spares shop told me someone came in to get some plates made up and it was.
C14SSA plate was made up to read Class A
No idea what car it went on though, probably some bruvved up business.
