Due to me getting another E30 (4 door 320i se) and already having a E36 I need to sell one of the E30's, (before anyone says, I cant sell the E36 as its the wifes and she dont like E30's  )

So Ive decided I like the look of the four door more so the Touring has to go,

Ive stuck it on Ebay with a start bid of £500 and no reserve, What do you expect I will get for it? Its got quite good spec,
325i, manaul, full leather, heated seats, air con (not working?) headlight wash wipe, etc, have a look an let me know what you think? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 2762.l1259

Ive had 1 offer of £800 about 6 mins after it went on ebay, should I hang on for a bit more?

thats cracking.. when i had the touring i had the chance of grey leather but rejected it hopping to find black as i wasn't sure how it would match with the dash etc, but its looks good in your pics..

id be looking for at least 1k but you might want to think about putting a fresh mot on it as this will attract more potential buyers.

This is a very similar car to the j-reg one I sold last summer - I had that up for £1200 ono and it sold quite quickly for not a lot less.

E30s don't seem to be getting top dollar on the bay lately though - it's only really worth selling a car on there if you need it gone quick, you'll always get a better, if slower, price, selling through the classifieds.

That grot on the front wing looks a bit grim and will put people off, and picturing it on 15s and selling on 14s isn't really cricket TBH - people will bid unseen without viewing, and will walk away for exactly that sort of reason.

Fresh MoT is always a good idea - you'll almost certainly get back what you spend on the test.

But it does say in the listing about being on 14", If you bid and win without reading the listing then thats tough? Its not as if Ive said its on 15"s then swaped them without saying

very true, but some might see it like selling a kitchen table and putting in the small print that the table is for a dolls house..

Not having a go, it's hardly a big deal, just saying that in my experience it pays to be watertight in the description to avoid having aggro with ebay stuff. Not saying you're trying to pull a fast one at all, just saying it might be something you wanna rethink in case it causes you a pain in the arse later - you don't wanna have to deal with a time waster who argues the toss about it when they come to pick it up.

Maybe saying 'it's not cricket' implied something more inflammatory than I meant - sorry if it came out wrong.
