try pouring coke on the chrome and rubbing gently with tin foil
apparently it brings chrome up a treat
i take no responsibility if it knackers your chrome though
and welcome to the nut house

i know soaking gold jewelry in it works, but the window trims are plastic so not too sure it'd have any effectStoney_god wrote:Welcome crazybitch.......crazybitchfttf wrote:Thank you,Nice looking Motor,

Is it chipped/flaked or is it just grubby?
Autosol is great stuff for polishing metals, if it is flaked I dunno what you could do, replace it is probably the only option I can think of..rechroming is near impossible, specialist jobbie.
Oh and welcome to the e30madhouse.co.uk

Are you talking about the trim around the side of the car or round the front/rear screen? If its the screen trims, then these are plastic and i think replacing them is the only option,i have this very problem on minecrazybitchfttf Posted: Tue Sep 13, 2005 2:50 pm Post subject:

It's like cloudy, every BM I have seen has the same problem
NO CHROME ARCHES
Sorry big dislike of mine!!
Just bought some lowering springs for it 60m, but the road I live in has a seriously bad speed hump, so could be fun!!
Thinking of either getting some deepdish rims or bbs, only 15's tho
I live in Hemel Hempstead/ Herts, I run a local website and a meet every week
