Both my sets came with an instruction sheet.....
Trickyest bit is mounting the control unit,I found that it would just hide under the light units and behind the plastic cover.
Other than that, you need to be able to cut a 25mm hole in the plastic cap on the rear of the light unit.
Huge difference in light output, well worth the effort involved.
Youth is wasted on the young.

I've got them in my E34, as daimlerman says, massive improvement in light output,
They're a definite for fitting in my E30 when it's finished,

There are loads of forum members who use them and fitting of them has been covered a lot on here - check out the Search function, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Very easy to fit....

Just disconnect the town lights....... you don't get disco lights then.

The only problem with them is you can't use the side lights (well you can you just get a warning light on the check panel)

This is only on one year iirc where the headlights were run on half power when the sidelights were operated :)

Sure Brian Moore will be along shortly to fill in the Details :)

HID's FTW :D

They are pretty much plug and play, just need to drill a hole in the back of the headlight cap for the rubber bung :)

There's a "how to" guide in the E30 wiki. Easy to fit, and well worth the short amount of time it takes to fit them.
Not in E30s any more :(
