Thanks to those who confirmed my old ford alloys wont fit, but got another set of alloys that are a wee bit sweeter. They're racing dynamics and have a decent set of tread left on the tyres, however have since found out that 3 out of 4 of them have flat spots. Frustrating because they're nice wheels and look circular to the eye but kinda make the whole car shake when going over 80mph.

Is it worth getting them refurbed? Dont want to fork out the cash to get them refurbed if there are doubts as to how well they can be rectified. Seen wheel refurbishment adverts with wheels that look proper mashed being sorted, but been told by others that they cant be made 100% true after they've taken a ding??

I imagine the twat who had them before me has just bumped them up a few curbs.

alloys can be machined to have the flat spots taken out no problem, but with re powdercoating them your looking at the thick end of Ԛ£100 per wheel, its usually cheaper to buy new ones!
