Mechanics of a Motorsport

I was wondering....does a 325i Sport have a different gearbox or LSD to a standard? If so, do those parts also appear on the Motorsports or are they just standard 325i cabby's as far as the drivetrain is concerned?

sports have a sport box and 3.91 lsd which you could get on a standard 325i

the sport had a close ratio box.
afaik this is exactly the same as a normal box except for different ratios internally.

2 different lsd's were available on the sport.

the phase one cars had a 3.64
and the phase 2 cars had a lower geared one with a 3.91 ratio (due i think to the fact that actual power was less on phase 2 cars)

was nothing to do with the power nick
and the only difference on the sport gearbox to standard gear box are the 1st 2nd and 3rd gear ratios are closer on the sport one

how many cars actuallyhit there claimed power

ant said that phase one cars have more power - and it makes sense cos they have higher comp ratio.

was faster than nemo tho - and im sure craig remembers how we pulled on you on the a470 - despite u going for it first. To be fair to nemo tho it was pretty close.
