Hi, I was advised badly to have high reserve on this car listed on ebay. I have now dropped reserve to £9102 which is a pound higher than current bid, I could not remove it or I would have!! Cheers

It is easy to remove / end a listing, just go to the help section at the top right and enter 'end listing'
Make sure to tick the box that cancels all bids and job jobbed. If the car is as described with no issues I do believe it is worth more than 9k but definately not the 20k that you allegedly had as your reserve !
You really need to try harder re the ad, more detail, better pics, under bonnet shots etc.
In your position , I would speak to WLN or Old colonel cars re sale or return as they being recognised and well regarded specialists will be able to get a far better price than you.

Not for me to judge, but I wouldn't be too happy with the bidding pattern on your auction. If there are any irreglarities that you know of, I'd cancel all the bids and close the auction if I were you, and advertise it as a classified ad on Ebay and elsewhere.graphixbylou wrote:Hi, I was advised badly to have high reserve on this car listed on ebay. I think keep it on auction, still plenty of time left and you've reached a healthy 9k+ which ain't bad at all if you want shut of it (plus it's over your revised reserve anyway) and it appears your not really an enthusiast anyway. If i was you i'd be buying it off your mum!
I think people will go mental in the final minutes, it's one of those 'once in a life-time moments' and i predict people will go ape sh1t
Relisting stuff on ebay is a bad idea as i've noticed people actually loose interest in things as they think the item is either going to be removed again, something is not legit or it appears a friend is bidding stuff up etc... people get bored and find other things...

Although do people leave their missus tied too doors?
Get a mate to put a 10 grand bid on, but don't forget the absolute raping Ebay will give you on final value fees - it's 10% isn't it?
That's a BIG cheque you need to write out.
I would give it to WLN or Old Colonel to sell. They'd want a couple of grand comission for the aggro and would put it up for around £12'000.
White with blue cloth isn't that bad - you wouldn't have ordered it new, but it's very unusual. I've never seen another white sport with blue cloth so it could well be unique.

To the OP.
To end the auction go into my ebay against the listing. On the right theres a drop down menu and in there it should give you the option of ending aution.
