Last week I bought some original 16" Alpinas  and yesterday I had the tyres fitted, took it out for a :drive: and man what a difference!

Did tell me one of the wheels is slightly buckled but that was sorted through balancing.

Its like someone glued my car to the road, I have an iS so with the wheels and the suspension cornering is such a laugh. Been exploring and found some sweet little back roads. I can't wipe the smile from my face.:D

Was funny on roundabouts too until the tyres scrubbed in, even a little power and the arse was itching to step out. Such a buzz, just had to share. Will borrow mates digi camera so I will get some pics up soon.

God I love my BMW! I am well and truly hooked! :thumb:

Sweet dude, i have decided i am gonna get me a set of 16", with 205/55 R16 or should i get 205/50 R16 tyres?
I was leaning towards 205/55 more because i am not gonna lower my car.

I have 225/45 on the rear as I have 8js and 205/50 on the front.

I wouls stick with the 205/50 rather than 205/55 and mines not lowered either but looks sweet. Fills the arch nicely I rekon.
