Ok, i was looking at a valence this one ;

would this not fit an 1989 spec car?

i thought the difference was at the rear of the car and not the front ???

Pretty sure it will bolt straight on.

It's the rear that was different as you thought because the shape of the arches was changed.

Looks very similar, im sure you could make it fit even if its not direct.
