The lad who bought my Sport in june has posted it for sale in the for sale section.

Its reg' and his user name is iil325i.

SEE THE PHOTO ON THE LEFT, this is when I had it!

I sold it to him for 2300 and his plate cost about 300 and now he's asking 4000-5000 for it after he's ruined it. The car is not worth as much now as when I had it.

And he also drives it in an apauling manner which involves constantly revving it off the limiter, donuts and burn outs. I'd really want to buy that car!!! not

A few people saw this car when I had it, it was immaculate except for slightly worn leather.

Zoner's Davetouring, Player6, Karan etc saw it, drove it and loved it! They always commented on its condition.

I work for BMW and I spent every wage packet on that car, I lost count how many times I had BMW technicians replacing old for new parts, even if it wasn't neccessary. That car was pampered!

I spent 1000's on it, only for him to put a very odd coloured pale grey leather interior in it, change the springs that were matched with the koni shocks for cheap'n'nasty extra low ones and put E36 M3 reps on it.

I'm sure there are people on this zone who this has happened to, you put blood, sweat, tears and 1000's into a car for only someone to ruin it.

I just thought I would put this post up as I know that car inside out and I don't want any zoner to get short changed or get home after buying it and have problems.

I hope this is of help to zoners and any prospective sport buyers.

dan

first things first. you sold the car to this dude. once its in his hands he can do what he likes to it. be it moddify it(read council mod"s), or turn a profit.

possibly slightly taking the piss advertising it on the zone though.

all i can say is that he wont get anywhere near Ԛ£4/5k. so theres no need to worry. god loves a tryer.

I was one of many people who wanted to buy this when you had it. I talked to Davetouring and others and they told me how good it was only for you to announce it had sold one day.

TBH, it's up to the guy who bought it to treat it as he sees fit. It's his property now. As for anyone who buy's it...it's a case of that classic bit of law caveat emptor. Yes, you may fall back on the Sale of Goods Act but it's not easy on a private sale.

I don't know iil325i but you really can't slander someones driving style in a public forum and accuse him of the things you have.

Yes, you may have put a lot of work and money into it but you sold it. Giles had the same issues recently and there's nought you can do about it.

just read the post... and his ad.

it's almost certain that anyone who can't even spell and writes in sms slang is going to ruin any car they own.

i recently owned a 1964 ford anglia. 2 owners from new, the first owner up until he died in 1999. it was serviced at the same dealer it originally came from up until the late 80's. all the owners including me were from hastings, as is the dealer. resprayed in 1995 by a local ford restoration specialist. it only had one welded repair on one inner wing. FSH. 62000 documented miles... all fairly sickening really. when i ebayed it (not the best car these days to transport 2 babies... ) i turned down 90% of the bidders as i wanted it to go to a good home. some bidders tried to convince me that they wanted to restore it but then when you looked at their ebay feedback they bought cars for classic banger racing!!! Err.. NO WAY MO FO!!!!!!

i was gutted when i sold that car but the new owner was planning on doing everything i wanted to do to it, nothing nasty. it probably cost me Ԛ£500 off the sale price due to cancelled bids but it was worth it for my sanity!

i can sympathise with you mate. anyone who wants top money for a E30 has to appreciate it's classic status and avoid chav mods. there's plenty of rusty shittes out there to abuse, not a decent sport. it's just not the done thing.

I agree 100% with you jonb, just looking out for my fellow zoners who have been good to me.

No one deserves to get ripped off or buy a car that has been treated badly (read: thrashed & f**ked up).

All I can say is that iil325i is one of the original nova & cavalier thrashers.

U all know what I mean.

Apologies to anyone who does own or has owned one of the prementioned cars.

He didn't have that one very long either, that thing was so rusty that you could get things out of the boot by putting your hand through the inner rear wheel arch. I think he repaired it and resprayed the whole car, that was thrashed aswell.
