Well people after being around for a few weeks i suppose i better introduce myself properly my names Tom and I live in Tamworth, Staffs.

Ive not long brought a 325i motorsport 89k on the clock with a hardtop as well. Ok it needs a little work on the interior and it needs a new softtop. But when ive finished with it I will have it in the condition it deserves to be.

Here is a pic, I picked it up from the garage last night as i had a new oil and fuel filter as well as a cam-belt and overall service. I hate the silver wing mirrors I have the standard ones but the electrics dont work for em so they will be sorted out asap!!!!

I want the car to look more or less standard except for it being lowered, rear spoiler, rear dark lights, side indicators front fogs. It is a real head turner the sound of it is luuuurvley. Just need a nice stereo to go in it as its got all the amps etc etc alredy with the car.

Ive been speaking with a few people on here about bits and bobs, to website.

I am also a member or another online forum www.escortevolution.co.uk stems from when i had an escort but ive kinda hung around on there still.

Are you gonna put the mirros/grille/wheels back to original spec? :)

mirrors yeah as soon as i can work out if the originals are broken or the wiring is fcuked.

The wheels i like the ones on it they look nice imo as for the front grills i kinda like it looks mean and dark. What do you think?

I think a dark grille looks good but the standard grilles painted black would be better, the one you've got looks a bit tacky and stuck-on.

Very glad to hear you're changing the mirrors :thumb:

zayyan what is the difference?

cos i thought the black kidney grills u can buy
were just the same as normal ones!
so it it better to spray the standard black
than buy one off of a business? :?

They look like a one-piece aftermarket item from the pic if you look closely.

I think a standard one painted would look better.

Looks good mate. I like the wheels a lot.

Are the boot n bonnet badges the mtec ones ? If so look closely, are the colours in the right order ?

Eyebrows are good too. Mine are off ATM but plan to stick em back on for a bit this weekend.

well done, good price. Whats the mileage ?

looks pretty good, only thing i'd change is those mirrors, not a huge fan of the wheels but their 17's so at least gives a nice look.

Amended i meant a newbie, mileage is good eh ;-) lol

Gouki -> the mirrors are the 1st thing im changign this weekend providing i can get the electrics working for the old ones.

As for the wheels each to there own i personally think they go nice with the motor ;-)
