Here it is!!!
Yep I know its Silver - but it is a genuine Motorsport
, from 1989 and I just couldn't say no.
Get this; 49,000 miles - the best condition I seen one - from Munich Legends - and it bloody got air con!!!
Its having some work done to it at the moment - from ML's hitlist - so I get it in 2 weeks. Hope the time goes fast!!!
What do you reckon?

It was one of the earlier Motorsports Mark, without the Mtech bodykit. I do prefer the Mtech look [and maruritus blue is soooo sweet], but with the stupid low miles and in the general good condition it was in - I decided I could live without it, and the silver does look nice too.
I was happy with the price I got, though yeah it wasn't the cheapest. Though seeing what other people been paying lately for Motorsports with way higher miles and in worse condition - I reckon it was ok?

Cheers guys.
Yeah Bob. Sold my 1.8T New Beetle to get this, and my only other car before that was a Mk2 1.6 Golf....so first rear wheel drive car too.
Cant wait to get it, just hope there's a little sun left for me?

Sorry don't like the early motorsports. They look too dated, nothing different to a normal cab really. Think what you're getting for the "motorsport" name on an eraly cab, nothing really.
Still, looks tidy though.

Forgive my ignorance but this car looks just like a standard 325 convertible ?. I'm sure though coming from munich legends (sic) it will have had a motorsport price !.

The only thing it hasn't got that the later Motorsports have; is the Mtech bodykit isn't it? I agree Adam, it does look more dated - but I'd prefer to say 'classic'. At the end of the day, I went for the tidyness, low miles and the fact that its still a sweet as hell E30 drop-top.
Cos it aint the prefered M'sport, does that mean I couldn't come to the Motorsport cab meet Adam?
Its Nogaro silver tylerma.

Few more pics - The leather is in real good condition, just the drivers seat needs a bit of care. The rims are having a refurb as you read this.

That leather looks brand new!
Car looks real tidy, just a shame there's no M-Tech kit to me. Still, if your happy ... good luck with it.
PS Hope the rims are going to be Nogaro/Sterling silver.

My first thoughts were to get an Mtech kit for it - but I think that will hurt its future value. If it was a standard cab, then yeah no problem - but all Motorsport cabs [with or without the Mtech kit] are becoming classics and are hard to find in original spec. I'm gonna keep the rims as there are too [though I love the painted centres of the later M'sports] again for the same reason...and when the refurb done they gonna look brand new.
Though I did mention to ML that I maybe wanted some 17s - they advised me to go no better than 16in [genuine Alpina rims I reckon], cos the Mtech suspension was developed for the 15in BBS rims.

You can't do that - it's a period accessory!
Is that a Calypso Red M'sport behind yours on the interior shot?

I'd have been more tempted by that, i think.
Bugs - is your's on a G plate then rather than an H?

Looks more like an M3 Cab to me.
Nice car you got there mate, but personaly i wouldn't be happy without the M-Tech kit on a Motorsport.

You might be right there Kedge. Especially given it's lhd and has the box arches.

Cloth inserts looks more like the Motorsport cloth than bubble leather now too.

Yeah the background cab is an M3, but that pic is from 18 months ago - when ML had my cab first time round [just the best shot of the interior I had]. I got some other pics to, and next to that red M3 cab was a black M3 cab - both 13k+ at that time!!!
Yep CaesarBob, its on a G plate - thus no Mtech kit. Definetly would of been better with it, but I cant complain - its still so so sweet. Dont think any Nogaro silver Motorsport cabs came with the kit?....Sounds like I'm trying to defend my new baby; y'all gotta agree, my cabs hot as hell innit. And as an introduction to E30's its pretty high up there right?

Hey, Im was man enough to handle any gay associations with my bug - plus the chicks loved it dude!!!
The fun part of owning mine was that it had 225bhp and would pretty much kill any fool trying to burn me at the lights - no one expects a sweet little Beetle to hit 60 in less that 7!!!
Still, it was time for it to go - need some rear drive practice.

Yeah the hood works fine. The rear screen could do with replacing at some point but its ok for now [though I been told that can cost Ԛ£400 as its stitched in? - though I seen a later Motorsport that had a zip-in screen, BMW do that?]

Looks the business with or without a bodykit.
Munich Legends might be pricey but they do find the best cars. My 635 Motorsport came from them 2 years ago.
