My clutch is about gone! Badly!
Thinking about upgrading it rather than just getting a standard bmw one put on
Any suggestions which kit to get and where from?
Cheers people

The standard BMW one is as good as you get or need without going to a paddle friction plate that you'd anly need if you were going serious racing. And the next step byond that is the multiplate type but they are Ԛ£Ã”šÃ‚£Ãƒ”šÃ‚£Ãƒ”šÃ‚£Ãƒ”šÃ‚£

Would that be because an auto doesn't have a clutch?

auto's do have clutches iirc
they dont wear hardly tho due to the auto box knowing how to change gear properly maximising the clutch life if you see what i mean

Ahheemmmm - the ZF auto transmission in an E30 auto (IIRC) has a torque converter. I would gos as far as sayin very few autos actually have clutches in the normal sense of the word, although there have been many types of auto gear box over the years. Although having said this an auto box does have lots of little clutches and brake bands inside it which rarely wear out, unless it's mistreated in which cas the boxes just tend to give up.

And for brakes - Green stuff are good - but expensive - I'd go for Pagid fast road pads from GFS and standard OEM disks.
