Depends on what was specced when new or if another "enthusiast" has been at it. Either find a quiet "private" road and give it some beans to see if it leaves two strips of rubber or jack the car up and turn one wheel, if the other side turns in the opposite direction it's an open diff.

You may end up lucky

i think ill have to jack it up and have a look.in the dry it does try to behave itself in the wet it doesnt but as the cars getting on in the miles and the diff is proberly tired i cant make my mind up if lsd or not
