Hi all, just saying hi to everyone really, I know Karan, big Dave, and two Si's from this forum, and ive met quite a few of you at some of the meets (stevenage, ace cafe etc) and thought id join up...

Im in the process of buying a new car, and im stuck in making my mind up of what to buy...

Im loving mk2 CRX VT's, but after going out with Dave and Karan, im loving the originatily and sheer fun of the old e30's... RWD is defo a factor in pulling me to the dark side

Anyhows, im off to try and find a low mileage minter on here, so ill catch up with you all soon...

Ryan :D

Dream on loser!

I thought I'd let you have a chance by starting at 2k, but it turned out I didn't need to, I would have eaten you up had I have tried! Stupid French turd!

It is quite quick though, but only because it is made from papier mache.

I like both CRX VTs and 325i's, for different reasons.

I say buy a CRX VT, and buy a 325i for use on track/drifting!

PS, what's us best 1/4 mile time you stupid english kerniggot, I fart in your general direction.Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries.

What, ive killed for less

I used my mates GPS jobbie on my runway in Norwich and was getting all mid to high 15's, but then i got a freak 15.3?

I ran i 16.16 when the car was 100% standard with full interior...

Ryan.

My car did 15.9 all day long at York dragway a couple of months ago, but that was fully loaded with no interior strip out etc, plus my reaction times were shameful at 1.2 secs!

Reckon I could see very late 14's if I strip it out, sort the cold air feed and got off the line a bit sooner!

The A11 can be a nice fast road if you don't get snagged by Old Bill waiting on the sliproads at Wymondham etc :P Used to be able to do thickthorn servies to Attleborough turn off in 4 1/2 mins in my alfa

Was speaking to a bloke with a new CSL yesterday and he was bigging up the e30's like there was no 2moro! Im SERIOUSLY thinking about gettin this one ive seen... Proper sport with the M-Tech II kit, in a kinda gunmetal grey colour. 117k on a G plate i think...

Will i regret it? Ive always wanted a CRX VTEC, but e30's have soooo much originality about them, and the small factor that their RWD

Decisions, decisions... :?

Drive both, then decide

My non vtec mk2 CRX was the all round best car I ever owned (sorry guys!)
Light & chuckable, you could bounce it off the rev limiter all day long no worries, and still get over 30mpg. It was slightly quicker than my 325 too at the traffic light GP, and in the wet would utterly annihilate the e30

But then an e30 has RWD :) and they're a bit stronger if you crash em too, wouldn't want to be in a crash in the CRX

Originality wise I think the CRX is pretty unique looking too esp from the side/rear

Both great cars at the end of the day!
Cheers,
Robin

Ryan dude, E30's are the way to go. CRX's are pretty cool, but when you can go round a roundabout facing the wrong way....thats when you know youve got a cool car!

You can do that in a CRX, they have plenty of lift off oversteer - not quite the same though, and you can hardly keep it up all the way round, you have to do it in a series of 3 or 4 slides.
