the clio 182 trophy also used the same type of recaros, as did the integra type R, which is probably the most common car on the roads that they came in, plus a lot get stripped for track use. sadly theyll almost always be in horrible coloured cloth, so by the time you factor in a retrim youre probably up near new prices!
i bought these off ebay almost 5 years ago, for my lancia, they look almost identical to the proper recaros, and a pair in real leather was cheaper than a single imitation leather recaro. ok, so up close some of the details look a little cheap, but theyre still very supportive, and the leather and stitching is fantastic. theyre heavily bolstered but show very little sign of wear despite being used in my daily drivers.
i never got around to getting the rest of the interior retrimmed, and when i got the m3 which already had a black leather interior, i noticed the horizontal stitching on the seats was a very close match so put the lancia back to standard and put them in the m3,
i think theyre now branded as carrelli and sold by chart-one, the detail around the harness slot looks a bit different, and they look pretty crap with the big logo on them, if you were interested it'd be worth contacting them to see what all the options are.
