"Hi" from the new guy

Finally joined up, liking the site very much. I am currently in Sydney on business but return in 2 months to see what state my e30 is in. When i left the engine was in and and running, still lots of work to do, only taken me 14 months so far. Engine is a 670bhp RB26, and she is wearing almost all carbon fibre, and a 5 " roof chop, pics will be upload when i return, car has cost me over 28k not including the engine! Looking forward to scouring the site!

What i cna think of right now. My mechanical knowledge is not great and tbh my uncle has built the car, i have just said yes or no!
I bought the car 3 years ago, as a flood damaged 325 sport, genuine, interior wrecked. First job was strip it bare and send it to my uncle in margate, He specialises in roof chops, it took him 4 months, and damn was it hard work, you don't realise how much has to be altered. You have to cut a cross out the roof, and then fill it so the roof is wider then drop it down. Was going to keep sunroof, but this is exceptional amount of work. One thing it's still missing is windscreen, herder to get cut than i thought. Had Roof done in carbon fibre, bonnet, boot lid, and doors! Front and rear wheel arches are extended using m3 wings, half and half. Windows all fit, doors have been shortened, interior romoved, obviously nothign fits correctly now. THis was the most modern car my uncle had ever chopped! Roll cage is bolted in aswell, actually corrrection its welded into almost every point of the car.
Uncle and his friend fitted the Engine in about a month, and then i left it, due to how much it was costing. Then late 2008 the whole thing was running, it is all skyline gts running gear pretty much, not sure on exact details. Engine was dynoed in 2008, 670bhp, i drove the old skyline ti came from, it was stunning, and very scary, which is exactly the sort of power i wanted. and has been started once a month since then. Still not moved the car! I have over 240 pics of the build i will upload when i return to UK. I believe when it's finsih it will anhialate most things on the road. And destroy my boxers every time i drive it!
Colour, it's called sapphire blue, a jaguar colour but is brighter than the standard colour, was painted 2008 aswell, but not to the standard i would have liked, (cousin) Roof and bonnet is still carbon
Things that need to be done:
New gearbox, brakes, windscreen, interior, basically loads, i hope to have it finished by summer, big shout out to my uncle he has done pretty much the whole car, he is a hero!

A 670bhp cab should certainly make for some interesting hurricane-in-the-hair motoring

No spoilers, just the arches, BBS lm i hope in 18" standard lights, and cup mirrors and everything else is standard shape, except the front which i have not made my mind up on yet, i am deciding whether to have the intercooler hidden or not?
This sounds interesting! I can't wait for some pictures!
