Hello everyone i was wondering whats the rarest e30? I own a 320is coupe and i know this is pretty rare. Here's some stats;

AK95 - Two door - Produced 03/88 til 11/90
AC95 - Four door - Produced 09/87 til 07/90

2542 Two doors were produced
1206 Four doors were produced

Does anyone know the numbers for the Aplinas or Hartges? Or any ''one-offs''

Thanks

There are more Alpina's than equivelent Hartge models. In terms of Hartge the most common conversions were H23's and H27's, then H26's and H35's. The rarest being H27sp and H28. The H35-24 was very rare too (M3 with tuned M5 engine) with only approx 6 built and i know of one with is scrapped :(

I am yet to find another like my H28 and have searched the net completely...

Ac schnitzer are also very rare conversions and there are also other one-offs such as Griffin and mk motorsport etc. Don't know much about these though.

Europameister M3's are quite rare. They only made about 150 of them. I'm not sure if i've spelled that correctly, but you know what i mean...

however the white M3 sport evo's built as company cars for the works drivers, they are rare. IIRC 4 were made, and each had 260bhp.

griffin is tuner, unlike Hartge/alpina.

as desireable as griffin engine may be, the body it came in does not make it special.

we are talking about uber rare e30's , like the B6s, H36, ravaglia M3's

imo hartge and alpina are just tuner as well, i was using "comercialy produced in number and available to the public" as the yard stick, but then you could also say that Fartge and Alpenis are "official tuners"

What about the Design Edition Neon Violet Touring. Seen bits off them for sale on german Ebay, but never in the 'flesh'. Seen two or three neon green cabbys, though . . . . . . .

Only three RH drive tourings in this colour apparently!
I've a bonnet, front panel, both wings, front doors. front and rear bumpers and sunroof panel in stock in this colour, and a selection of touring shells, so there might be four, one day!

Hartge are not an official BMW tuner.

Alpina are aand have been since the late seveties.

AC schnitzer were also an official BMW product from the late 90's untill last year when BMW released their Perfomance range of parts.

When it comes to rare models you need to be talking single figures.

The rarest official BMW E30 i can think of is the RHD Alpina B6 2.8, only 1 ever made!

Reg is B6 MEE
