They do work, loads of guys use them.
Lots of people have nothing but praise for them, and gives you endless combos for wheels.
I might get some if I get the RS's i'm after to go with my RS003's

the adapters cost you nearly 300 ? are they bmw specific fitting 5x120 or are they like these ones on the bay?kam325itouring wrote:i got mine today what a wicked piece of kit, My cousin got them custom machined for me from germany!!!! 20mm went straight on with no issues, and my e36 17" rims went straight on. 7.5s on the front and 8.5s on the back!!! they cost me nearly 300 quid but worth it. i will get pics up soon.

Adaptors were on my list of possibilites when i was thinking about wheels. Baz, you thought about 5x130 porsche fitment adaptors? i was scouring ebay when i came across some tasty retro split rims in porsche fitment.

Not a bad price them, Hubcentric`s are they good for you hubs and bearings ??

they are one piece, very similar to concept wheels ones. and they are as i said custom made. So i had to tell him what wheels i was putting on, the adaptor bore is e30 fitment 4x100 and the face bore is e36 fitment 5x120 so there is no need of spigiots or anything like that, straight fitment. They are 20mm so when putting on a e36 wheel on with an et41 it comes down to et21 which is perfect for a E30.gareth wrote:ar they one piece?kam325itouring wrote:i got mine today what a wicked piece of kit, My cousin got them custom machined for me from germany!!!! 20mm went straight on with no issues, and my e36 17" rims went straight on. 7.5s on the front and 8.5s on the back!!! they cost me nearly 300 quid but worth it. i will get pics up soon.

Porsche ones are normally a good call as Porker wheels have high offsets of 50-60mm so a 25mm adaptor will work comfortably.Cook318IS wrote:Adaptors were on my list of possibilites when i was thinking about wheels. Yeah but you cant get 4x100 to 5x120 off the shelf!!! H&R FK Eibach no one makes them ive done my research. they make to 5x100 and 5x130. they have to be custom made. these are hubcentrics.rix313 wrote:£300 is abit steap when you can buy proper hubcentrics for under £100 a pair.

Cheers baz, as i said before the cheaper adaptors they dont do it in this fitment hence custom made hence the price tag!!! the rims are the e36 328i sport rims RC041 fronts and rc042 rears.Baz666 wrote:dame they look good, but surelly the £70 will do the same job with out the £300 price tag

I bought mine off a zoner (via ebay) several years ago for about 185 I think. Well engineered adapters. Ended up using 4 stud wheels on the car though.

those wheels do look very nice on there. funnily enough they're the same wheels i was thinking of fitting to mine, hence looking at making stud adaptors.
a question though, what's the score with the 4th 4x100 bolt? what's that insert? does it screw in or something?
looks iffy to me...

yeah it screws in, because if you calculate the 4x100 over the 5x120 one bolt overlaps thats why you need one thats like a shim insert. Its been tried and tested.gareth wrote:those wheels do look very nice on there. funnily enough they're the same wheels i was thinking of fitting to mine, hence looking at making stud adaptors.
