refurb alpinas

hi all havent posted for a very long time, hope your all ok,

got some news and id like to share with fellow zoners.




today i just picked up a GENUNIE SET OF ALPINA 7j & 8j, 16's (with alpina writing on the hub and ronal on one of the spokes on the rear )

condition of these badboys are ok, but i want to refurb them.

picture 60/40 on a diamond black sport with alpinas, hella smoked fronts, rear (MHW) tinted clusters /front/side indicators smoked

what do you guys/gals suggest to refurb them to?

1. black with diamond cut lip (state gloss,matt etc)
2. nogaro silver with diamond cut lip, (motorsport center)
3. Standard with diamond cut,
4. whole face diamond cut ? i remember someone did this on the old zone (ant mtech1?) any body got any pics of this?
5.best to leave standard/original.

at the moment in my mind its between the diamond cut with nigaro centers and standard/original?

what do you guys suggest, all opinions/slating welcome hehe.

ermmm sort of what my mind going for, but then at the same time i dont want to like de-value a set of original alpinas but then eash to there own i suppose, might even do nagaro and polish/diamond lip.

anybody good at photoshoping?

this is what mine looks like... first on 17" BK171's then on 16" alpina reps. the alpina reps were fairly battered but after anthracite centres and a polished rim they look rather sweeeeeeeeeeeet!!!!!

Lepsons did the refurb and it's damn good, the mangled rim in the pics was straightened, welded then diamond cut and you would never know it had been damaged!!!!!!

i'll put some pics up with the centre caps on once i get them back from lepsons... they painted them all so thick that the caps won't go in now!

gareth those rims look sweet you got any more pics of the car with them on??

i think im gonna go for negaro with diamond cut lip, same as the motorsport bbs rims.

no, i've not got any more pics as yet... they look sooooooooooooo cool though!

they still look clean when covered in brake dust too!
