Some VW wheels are also 4x100, but normally around 35mm offset.

Also need to check your centrebore, I think the Mini is the same as the e30 anyway, 57.1mm

what can you get away with spacers? if i put spacers on a wheel would it make it a higher offset?

what i mean is ould i buy some wheels wih an et20 and make them et35 with a spacer?

Spacers reduce offset, not increase it so you can't go from ET20 to ET35, but you could do it round the other way

I have had to use some Volkswagen Golf wheels on my 323i before. They had a 20 to 25 offset, I can't remember exactly. I don't think they were standard Golf wheels though, just ones that had been on a Golf.

This whole wheel thing can get pretty confusing. What gets me is that the car has a 25 offset but you can fit wheels up to a 35 offset, right?
But then you will need spacers etc.....
