Hi everyone, this is my first post!
I have a compression problem on 3 of 4 cylinders on my 318is e30, i have been told by the previous owner that the head was skimmed etc, we have found a good M42 engine from an E36 at a scrapyard, but i wonder if i can swap the head over if it's in good nick? The inlet manifold is different in appearance but is the porting different? Has anyone done this? I can't really justify putting a £600 plus bill on top of the initial lay out. Would really appreciate any advice..
Cheers
Jon
