ive just swapped out a knackered cluster, for a spare i got off the bay. alll seems ok changed the coding plug.

how do you goabout changing the mileage on the new one to the reading on the old one ?

anything else to consider ie fuel tank size/reading?

have a good search im sure the answer has been given many times before on here

however most will be unlikely to post exact details of how to do this on the public forum

it is a very simple gauge tho all self explanatory if you strip the pod down

Ive been wondering that. I need to put a set of clocks forward 20,000 miles as the ones in mine are playing up.if anyone has info on this id be gratefull.

Easy way with out risking damaging the odo you can unscrew the spedo unit from the old cluster ans swap them over.

Yeah i would do that but its 20k out mines done 146000 and the new clocks have 125000! Il just leave it i think till i can find some with the rightish millage
