Excellent BMW Independent garage in Newbury

Hi Guys'n Gals - I've just put my 320i through MOT - failed on ball joint wear and brake binding at back. :cry: Never mind - anyway, I must put a big thumbs up to all the guys at The Car Clinic (Newbury) Ltd (01635 529582) - they really know their E30's. charged me Ԛ£25 plus VAT for MOT, and said I could bring it back anytime 'in next month or so' (quote) for free retest. Also advised rear axle bushes (the two big bu**ers) were shot, though not an MOT fail, apparently. Sold me a pair of genuine BMW bushes for Ԛ£15 each, plus VAT. I know they're genuine cos they were in the BMW bag! They charge Ԛ£30 an hour labour plus dreaded, do loads of E30 work (including M3's), plus all later BM's as well. All in all, a very pleasant experience compared to the authorised dealers I've been too. They are all very friendly and supply endless coffee, but at the prices they're charging they can afford too!!
